About KidZania
KidZania Hanoi is Vietnam’s first international educational park for children aged 4–15, offering 43 facilities and 48 career-based role-play activities. Designed to help kids explore real-world skills through interactive learning, it required a unified system to manage ticketing, retail, and in-park payments efficiently.
Project Challenge
KidZania needed a POS to manage ticketing and retail while ensuring a seamless visitor experience.
Handle Ticketing Complexity
Needed smooth online-to-offline check-ins for customer book online or by them onsite. Integrate digital and braclet ticket scan with QR codes
Retail & Food Sales Synchronization
Required accurate, multi-register POS for high-volume sales and weight-based items like candy. Manage revenue shares from partners that located in KidZania
Support Custom Currecy and Local Payment Gateways
The POS had to integrate KidZania’s unique in-park currency, kidZo, while also processing popular local payments like VNPAY

Unified Ticketing & Retail System
Enabled seamless, end-to-end transactions throughout the park—from ticket check-ins at the entrance to in-park retail and food sales—ensuring a consistent and efficient experience for both visitors and staff.
Custom Currency - kidZo integration
KidZania’s kidZo currency lets children earn rewards after completing job quests, which they can use to shop at in-park merchandise stores. This customization preserves the fun and educational experience of KidZania, offering kids a hands-on way to learn about earning and spending.
Integrate Local Payment - VNPAY
Integrated VNPAY to enable fast, QR-based digital payments, significantly improving convenience for visitors and enhancing their overall experience. This seamless payment system allows for quicker transactions, adapt with digital transformation demands.
