Native Reward Points Conversion & Redemption Rates

Setting up Reward Points #

Reward Points let customers earn points for purchases and redeem them for discounts on future orders.

Note: If you cannot find Reward Points in your settings, please contact [email protected] to have it configured for your account, as some accounts require additional setup.

Step 1: On the ConnectPOS sell screen, tap the Menu icon, then select Settings from the menu list.
Step 2: In the Settings screen, choose Reward Points.
Step 3: Toggle Enable reward points to ON.
Step 4: Toggle In App to ON for customers to earn and redeem points directly in the app.
Step 5: In Earn Points Conversion Rate, enter how much in currency equals 1 point. Example: 2000 = 1 point means customers earn 1 point for every $2000 spent.
Step 6: In Redemption Conversion Rate, enter how much value 1 point is worth when redeemed. Example: 1 point = $100 means each point is worth $100 discount.
Step 7: (Optional) In Maximum Points Discount per product, set the maximum discount allowed per order when paying with points.
Step 8: Tap Save to apply the changes.

Using Reward Points #

Step 1: With every order, the customer earns a certain number of reward points. The cashier can click on the customer name > go to the Reward Points tab to view the customer’s reward point history.

Step 2: During checkout, if the customer wants to redeem their reward points, the cashier clicks on Use Reward Points > enters the amount of points the customer wishes to use.
